I bought my WF210 when I moved into a different house, worked perfectly for 2 months, ultra silent and I was so happy. Then all of a sudden bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, every time the drum begins to spin up for a rinse or spin cycle. Once it gets to a higher rpm it is fine, but it makes a heck of a racket when it first starts rolling. Wished I had never bought a Samsung. Two months it lasted!!!
UPDATE - After 15 months, when I paid myself for yet another visit from the repair man, the washing machine stopped in mid-cycle while the repair man was standing right there. He said "That never happens!" and I said "#$%#%#$^^%^$^#%$#%, it has been happening for 15 months!!!!" He said the only thing that would make the washer stop in mid-cycle, intermittently, with no mechanical symptoms, is a bad computer. The computer was crashing. He talked to Samsung and I talked to Samsung and they agreed to extend my warranty to cover the repair, since the problem existed from the first day I bought the machine, it just took them 15 months to figure out what it was. It has been repaired and now it works great. The repair man said that the trouble shooting flows they work with are all mechanical in nature, looking for a broken part, and that is why no one was able to match my situation to a flow that they knew how to fix. I think Samsung should update their flows to include the flow for a bad computer, since the computer is a pretty big part of what makes the machine work. I added a star, since my machine works now and they did extend the warranty. I don't know if I would buy from them again, though.
I LOVE this washer. I have had it for about 6 months and enjoy using it. The settings are great. It is high efficiency which means lower energy bills for me! The detergent dispenser is quite nice to use because it is on the top outside corner where I can just pour the detergent in straight from the spicket of the jug. My only complaint is that the glass will fog up and hold in moisture if you don't let it air out for several minutes after use which can be annoying.
The WF210 has otherwise moved my laundryness into the 21st Century when once my ancestors beat their loincloths against a rock in a cold stream. I have made them proud, no doubt.
